This document presents the findings of the first external review of the Joint UNDP/DPA Programme on Building National Capacities for Conflict Prevention. Focusing on the period from 2012 to 2014, the review seeks to assess the contribution of the Joint Programme to UN efforts to advance conflict prevention at the country level through support provided by PDAs, and takes stock of its contribution to enhancing the UNs capacity to understand and respond to complex political situations.
