The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the Government’s capacity for peacebuilding and social cohesion through 1) developing sustainable Government capacities to address potential risk factors leading to conflict, and to promote long-term peacebuilding and social cohesion; 2) promoting greater participation and role of women in the peacebuilding and social cohesion arena; and 3) promoting conflict-sensitive analysis to development policies, plans and programmes.
